How to Paste Urdu in Inpage
Do you often want to transfer beautiful Urdu text from an image or a graphic into your InPage document, but worry about the formatting getting ruined?
Normally, pulling text directly from an image and pasting it correctly into InPage is a challenging task. However, we're going to show you a simple, effective method where your text’s unique Nastaleeq appearance stays perfectly intact.
Let's begin this Three-Steps Process!
Step 1: Extract Text from the Image (Using Google Lens)
First, we need to convert the Urdu text from the image into a digital, copyable format.
1. **Open Google Lens:** On your PC, open a Chrome browser and navigate to **Google Lens** (or use the image search feature on Google).
2. **Select the Image:** Upload or select the image that contains the Urdu text you want to copy.
3. **Copy the Text:** Google Lens will recognize and transcribe the text within the image. Wait a few seconds, then **copy** the text that appears on your screen.
4. **Save to Notepad:** It's crucial to temporarily save this copied text into your computer's **Notepad** or any plain text editor. This is your source material for the next step.
Step 2: Convert Unicode to InPage-Friendly Format
The next critical step is to convert this simple digital text (which is in Unicode format) into a special code that InPage can read as Nastaleeq.
1. **Use a Converter Website:** Open a dedicated online converter website (Search Google for **"Unicode to InPage Converter"**).
Or Click on This Link
Unicode To Inpage
2. **Select Conversion:** On the website, choose the **"Unicode to InPage"** option.
3. **Paste Your Text:** You will see a large box on the screen. **Paste** the text you saved in Notepad here.
4. **Copy the InPage Data:** After pasting, a second box will appear, often showing a sequence of **symbols or special characters**. This symbolic data is the InPage-compatible code. You must **copy all the content** from this second box.
5. **Final Save:** Save this new 'symbols' data into your **Notepad** one last time.
Step 3: Paste into InPage and Finalize
You are now at the final stage of the transfer!
1. **Open InPage:** Launch the InPage software on your PC.
2. **Select the Text Tool:** After opening InPage, go to the left-side toolbar and ensure you select the **Text Tool** (usually the second option). This is vital for a correct paste.
3. **Paste the Data:** Copy the 'symbols' data from your Notepad and **paste (Ctrl + V)** it onto the InPage page.
Congratulations!
You will now see your text, extracted from the image, displayed with the perfect original Urdu Nastaleeq formatting right inside InPage. This simple trick allows you to easily move any text from a picture to your InPage document without losing quality or style.
